Raising Humidity for Indoor Plants
The short answer
The most reliable ways to raise humidity for houseplants are running a portable humidifier near them and grouping plants together to create a moist microclimate. A tray of pebbles and water beneath the pots also raises humidity in the immediate area, and enclosed cases like terrariums naturally hold high humidity.
Keep plants away from heat sources and drafts, and consider higher-humidity rooms such as a bathroom or kitchen. Misting is not an effective way to raise overall humidity because the effect fades within minutes.
